Yesterday’s Artist Insight event with our current gallery artist, Beth Yazhari, was a hit! New people were introduced to Yazhari’s work, to the Arts Center, and to a deeper level of interaction with visual art. Make sure to look for future Artist Insights in 2026!

We had a fantastic evening at this year’s State of the City on Wednesday, April 15! The live program began with an incredible performance by the Sherwood Arrows Dance Team and set the tone for an engaging program. Mayor Rosener delivered a wonderful recap of the past year, sharing highlights of our community’s progress along with two videos that captured key accomplishments.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event so special, including Al's Garden & Home, 503 Uncorked, Cooper Mountain Ale Works for the delicious catering, and Bill Hernandez for providing live music. We’re also grateful to our City staff and everyone who joined us. Your support makes this community so special, and we’re proud to continue building a strong, connected community together.
If you were unable to attend the event, and would like watch the program, you can view it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJx-ZfPyzm0
