Show your support! Provide comments on pending grant
Sherwood has applied for grant funds to design the Blake Street connection between Oregon Street and 124th in the Tonquin Employment Area. This funding will incentivize economic development and job creation in the area by identifying a specific road alignment and design that can then be constructed as development occurs or as the City obtains additional funding to construct the road. We are competing for funding with other jurisdictions around the Portland Metropolitan region and public support is an important factor in the ultimate funding decision. Show your support for funding this project by taking the survey at https://www.oregonmetro.gov/public-projects/regional-flexible-funding-transportation-projects. Comments and survey responses will be accepted through October 7th.
