Economic Injury Disaster Loan Available for Washington County Businesses Impacted by January Storm
JANUARY WINTER STORM WEATHER ECONOMIC INJURY DISASTER LOAN DECLARATION – DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION – November 8, 2024
The City of Sherwood Economic Development Office is focused on working with small businesses impacted by the January winter storm. For that reason, we wanted to let you know that Washington County was included in the US Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) declaration for the winter weather incident last month. This means that Washington County small businesses that suffered economic losses due to the storm (e.g, resulting from closures, blocked roads) are now eligible for low interest SBA loans through the EIDL program The deadline for application is November 8, 2024. Please see the attached news release and fact sheets about the declaration and EIDL program where you will find more details about this program as well as the contact information.
