Library Open House for National Library Week
Calendar Date:
Friday, April 28, 2023 (All day)Everyone is invited to visit the library during National Library Week, April 23-29. Join us on Friday, April 28, for refreshments, prizes, and fun activities for all ages!
- Meet a very special picture book character, Bruce the Bear, at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Technology petting zoo from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- Tours of the library at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
- Virtual Open House and reading recommendations at 2:00 p.m. Register to get the Zoom link.
- Look for “golden tickets” hidden in the library on April 28 and in the community at Little Free Libraries April 23-29. Find one and bring it back to get a $25 Target gift card. We are hiding 10 tickets in total.
- Stop by various stations in the library to share your ideas (or visit our virtual open house). Fill up your “idea card”, then choose from a selection of prizes and be entered in a raffle to win a $50 Target gift card.
All events are free and open to the public.
