Parks and Recreation
Our park reservation season is from May - September. You may make your park reservation online!
The dog park is OPEN.
Canine access to the dog park is dependent upon the weather. Please bookmark this page and check back frequently for its status.
The water features at Snyder Park and at the Cannery Square are scheduled to operate from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through the end of September from 9 am to 9 pm.

The City of Sherwood values events which bring people together through the celebration of the arts, sports, history, commerce, health and more. As a means of encouraging these gatherings, the City makes its streets and public right-of-way available to civic, private, and community groups to organize and sponsor activities that enhance Sherwood.
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan involves a comprehensive review of the existing inventory of land, recreation facilities, and recreation opportunities; development of a mission statement; development of a strategic set of goals, objectives, and actions for the next twenty years; survey of the needs of residents; identification of land for future parks and open space acquisition, preservation, or conservation; development of conceptual designs for parks; provision of a capital improvement schedule, and review of existing finance strategies; and development of recommendations to fund imp
We are excited to announce our Commemorative Brick Program at Veterans' Park. The bricks will serve as a lasting memorial. They can be purchased to honor someone who has served or is currently serving in the military. The person or group (for example, a specific military unit or ship) honored on the brick does not have to be a Sherwood resident. However, the message or name must relate to a veteran, living or deceased, as well as anyone currently serving in the military.
