Street Maintenance - Summer 2024

Slurry Sealing

UPDATE: 7/24/2024 - Slurry Sealing is scheduled for Tuesday July 30th and Wednesday July 31st.

Expect your street to be completely closed or to have temporary lane closures between 8 am and 5 pm on the scheduled day.  The crews on the street will be providing residents and drivers with more specific information regarding the schedule of street closures, detours and parking options.

Parking on the street will be restricted on scheduled days.  Cars that remain on the street on the scheduled day of work will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Barriers on the streets are not mere suggestions. Please avoid traveling on roads that are not yet opened in order to avoid damaging the product and damage to your property.

Please refer to the map provided below to see which streets will need to be cleared on which day.

The City crews will be focusing on streets in various locations throughout the city this summer, beginning in July. Operations will include sewer and storm system manhole repairs and asphalt crack sealing followed by slurry sealing. See the map included below for reference of which streets will be addressed this year.

Please expect delays and possible closures on your streets.  The crews on the street will be providing residents and drivers of more specific information regarding times of street closures, details and parking options.

For areas designated for slurry sealing, more specific information will be sent directly to you and a door hanger will be placed upon your property 48 hrs prior to the work being performed.  Please understand your options for parking your vehicle outside of the service area and plan for detours in and out of the neighborhood.

On-street parking will be restricted on scheduled days.  Vehicles that remain on the street on a scheduled day will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Questions regarding this scheduled street maintenance can be directed to Rich Sattler, Utilities Manager at 503.925.2319 between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
