Street Light Service Request
As children begin heading back to school and daylight starts to dwindle, the City of Sherwood would like to remind everyone of the rise in pedestrian traffic. One of the public services provided in order to help provide additional visibility during the dark winter nights is streetlights. Streetlights provide an important service to the community by supplying light for both motorists and pedestrians. However, PGE is unable to manually check each and every streetlight for proper operation and instead, depends on the assistance of customers to help identify streetlights in need of repair.
If you notice a streetlight outage, please contact PGE at:
1-800-544-1795 (press "3") or
www.portlandgeneral.com (to submit a Streetlight Outage Form online)
When reporting a streetlight outage, it is important to provide the following information:
- Address
- Nearest cross street
- Pole number (on pole)
- Map number (on pole)
Thanks to the assistance of citizens, PGE will be able to find and repair streetlights in a timely manner, and in turn, making our community safer and brighter.
