Newspapers
We carry several daily and weekly newspapers, available for patrons to read in the building. They can be found over by the magazines, in the fireplace reading area. Lift the shelf up to find past issues. We also offer access to other publications through our databases. Selections are below.
We have the last weeks' Oregonian on our shelves for patrons to read. Some older material can be found at OregonLive . Beaverton City Library (part off out system) has a full electronic version of the paper archives available for use in their building. Call them for more information at (503) 644-2197.
Informe! offers a collection of Hispanic magazines with full text. Covers business, health, technology, culture, current affairs and other matters.
InfoTrac Newsstand offers access to over 1000 newspapers.
While the Oregon Newspapers Index does not provide full text, it does provide an invaluable index for the Oregonian as well as The Oregon Daily Emerald, a University of Oregon campus newspaper, and The Eugene Register-Guard. Once you find the article you are looking for, just ask staff to help you request an InterLibrary Loan.
