Personal Finance Workshop with Lillian Karabaic
Calendar Date:
Thursday, April 14, 2022 - 6:00pmLillian Karabaic, host of the Oh My Dollar! radio show and author of A Cat's Guide to Money, will walk you through all the steps you need to know to create a plan for your money. Finances can be intimidating and overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to be, especially if we have a few cats to help. By the end of this workshop, you’ll walk away with a plan with your money and will have shed some of the stress that comes from thinking about your bank account.
This program will be held via Zoom. To register, please visit the WCCLS Events page.
Lillian Karabaic Bio: As the host of Oh My Dollar!, a weekly syndicated financial advice radio show, and as an international public speaker, Lillian has built a reputation for talking money without being boring or stiff - covering the kinds of modern money issues that aren't represented in the mainstream - variable income, working artist finances, GLBTQ+ relationships, and trans health care. Her cat-filled purr-sonal finance illustrated book, A Cat's Guide to Money, is now in its second print run. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, CBS, NPR, Vox Media, the Portland Mercury, the Oregonian, and the Journal of Higher Education.
